A private attorney based in Indianapolis, Ameen Najjar specializes in compliance and employment law, employee management and development, and complex investigations. Before establishing his private practice, Najjar worked for many years as legal counsel with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD). It was during this time that he gained much of his expertise relating to management-side employment and labor law and federal and state regulatory compliance, as well as experience testifying before state legislative committees and lead counsel during public administrative hearings. Prior to this period, he served the IMPD for nine years as a police officer and training academy instructor, and taught at the School of Criminal Justice at Michigan State University as an adjunct assistant professor. Ameen Najjar holds a juris doctor from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, and is a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association.
